A Cleaner Fuel, for a Brighter Future!

Asphalt and Rejuvenator and Release Agent

Our asphalt rejuvenators and release agents are highly competitive, propriety blends made with methyl esters from completely renewable and organic waste streams. These bio-based liquids can clean and protect equipment, and can penetrate aged, oxidized and recycled pavement to restore lost color, flexibility, cohesion, and durability. Our rejuvenator products replenish the asphalt binder oils lost to weathering and UV rays, effectively preventing potholes and extending pavement life by 5 to 7 years. These products have high skid resistance and durability, that significantly reduce long-term maintenance costs.

Lower cost: Our products are highly competitive and are a much cheaper alternative to petroleum-based products, particularly for local and regional markets. They provide significant long-term maintenance benefits, if applied early and as a part of a regular maintenance system. In addition, manufacturing these products from locally sourced waste increases economic multipliers by keeping money in the community, creating jobs, building resiliency and promoting plant-based, circular systems.

Deep Penetration: Bio-based formulas, applied either directly or as emulsions, seep deep into the asphalt matrix, reducing brittleness and increasing low-temperature flexibility, particularly important with increasing use of recycled asphalt pavement (RAP).

Reactivates Old Binder: Bio-based rejuvenators target the underlying chemistry of pavement rather than just coating it like traditional sealers. They replace petroleum binders with plant-based fats, oils and polymers, that reverses the oxidative aging process. Wood-based Carbon Black additive is also available as an additional binder in various sizes and concentrations, and can provide a level of subsidized carbon sequestration.

Sustainable Application: Due to the toxicity and broad impacts of petroleum-based products, we see the demand for more health- and environment-friendly rejuvenators in both public and private markets. Our products are very low in Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's) and are approved for use by DOT and EPA. Our bio-formulations are non-toxic, and thus much safer for employees and surrounding vegetation, and can be easily applied with standard agricultural chemical sprayers.

Mill Recycling: We also formulate bio-based products that can be used in hot boxes and infrared patching to soften and reuse existing RAP.

Because of local sourcing of raw materials and zero-fossil fuel constituents, our products are available in limited production runs so advanced orders are required. We offer season-appropriate mixes (direct or as emulsions) in recycled 5 gal carboys, 55 gal plastic (or steel) drums, 275-gallon totes, or by tanker delivery.
